Once you have written with a rollerball you will never want to go back to a normal ballpoint pen. The rollerball is one of the smoothest writing instruments I have ever used but that comes at a cost. A cap that must be replaced when the pen is not in use to prevent the ink drying out. Most of my rollerball styles are also available as a fountain pen at a small additional cost.
